Melissa Smith, 44, of Azle, passed away Aug. 3, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at The Jazz Chapel in Weatherford.

Melissa was born Feb. 1, 1981, in Port Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Debra Smith.

Melissa is survived by her sister Vanessa Hart and husband, Shannon; brother Daniel Smith and wife Cathy; nieces and nephews Bradley, Chrystyne, Hailey, Landen, Marriely, Brooks and Quinn.
