Joyce Gilley Moody went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at White's Azle Chapel in Azle, and will be followed by interment in Springtown Cemetery.

Joyce was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Sabathany.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Byrne C. Moody; her parents, Adrian and Ruby Gilley; and her great-granddaughter, Alison Webster.

She is survived by four children, Kathryn Jones, David Moody, Lee Ann Jordan and Linda Overstreet; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren that she cherished dearly; and a special cousin, Deborah Turpin.
