William David ‘Mack’ MacDonald
William David “Mack” MacDonald passed away peacefully Nov. 18, 2025, in Fort Worth. He was 66 years old. Mack was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, life partner and friend to many.
A Celebration of Life in remembrance of Mack will be held Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. at Open Table in Azle.
A funeral service will be held at a later date at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
He was born Aug. 25, 1959, in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and was raised in Watertown, Massachusetts. Mack was a 1977 graduate of Watertown High School. He lived a life marked by dedication and service. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, committing himself to the values of duty and honor that defined his character. Following his military service, Mack made his home in Azle with his partner Stacy. Mack was a devout Christian with an unwavering faith and love of Jesus Christ.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. MacDonald and Ruth Elizabeth (Christian) MacDonald. He is remembered and loved by his son, Patrick S. MacDonald of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Raymi and Lena MacDonald; his devoted life partner of 29 years, Stacy Hand of Azle; his adoring sister, Nancy A. Kenny (MacDonald) and her husband Randy of Watertown, Massachusetts; his niece, Meagan L. Schwarz (Kenny) and her husband Carter of Keene, as well as many friends who will miss him dearly.
