Steve Statler, age 69, of Azle, passed away peacefully Dec. 21, 2025.

Born March 4, 1956, at Fort Hood, Steve was the beloved son of George and Marge Statler. He spent his life rooted in the Lone Star State, where he built a legacy of love and devotion to his family.

Steve was a loving father and grandfather whose presence brought warmth and strength to those around him.

Steve’s life was marked by the enduring bonds he shared with his family. His legacy lives on through the generations who carry forward the love and values he instilled.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marge Statler, and his partner, Diana Canady.

He is remembered with deep affection by his daughters, Kymberli Myers and Melissa Lindsey. His role as a grandfather was one he cherished dearly; he leaves behind granddaughters Ashley Dovorak, Kyla Myers and Marissa Ratliff, as well as grandsons Dalton Lindsey, Colby Lindsey, Alan and Trey. His cousin Brenda Rotz also holds his memory close.
