With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lizabeth Kay English Key, 69, Jan. 26, 2026, following a brave and determined fight against cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held this summer in Azle, TX.

The family would like to thank the hospice staff for their amazing care of Liz and to the friends of the family in the Trumansburg, Lansing and Ithaca area for their constant support of the family. Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Lester George English Sr. and Martha Hutto English; brothers Mark English and James Paul (JP) English.

Liz is lovingly remembered by her brothers Matthew English and wife Gudrun, and Lester English Jr. (Peanut); daughters, Maria Carmane, Jennifer Westling and husband Chris, Cristina Key and partner Jacob Menn, and Mary Ellisor and husband Kyle; grandchildren Chasity Avirett and partner Iggy Apolinar, James Westling, Kaci Ford, William Westling, Evangeline Ellisor, Arreyna Key, Calvin Ellisor, and Maxwell Ellisor; great-grandchildren, Briella Apolinar and Juliana Apolinar; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. She will be deeply missed.
